Both units have tremendous capacity for their size. The MSW model can weld up to 1/8” of total material thickness. The unit can easily weld together 2 pieces of 20 gauge galvanized steel. For thicker applications choose the LMSW spot welder with a capacity of up to 3/16” total material thickness. The LMSW can weld together 2 sheets of 16 gauge galvanized steel, a respectable capacity for a machine of this stature.

For consistent welds, the “T” models include a timer panel. Just set the range from zero to 5 seconds. The unit also includes a 10 ft input power cord, a 10 ft interconnecting cord, and a reliable and convenient on off switch. For ease of use, the timer panel can be mounted to an optional SWP-2 pedestal.
You can count on a positive and accurate fit up of your material with the hand lever locking tongs. Miller offers a variety of tongs for various applications including reversible tongs for right or left handed operation of the spot welder. For minor variations in work thickness the tongs can easily be adjusted.
